This is the actual picture of Saint Carlo Acutis when he was young that time.
Introduction

In the modern world where technology and faith often meet, there is one name that shines brightly as a perfect example for the youth. He is known as CARLO ACUTIS, and he has been given the beautiful title of "The Millennial Saint of the Internet". He was a young man who loved God and loved technology at the same time, proving that you can be a good person and still be part of the digital world. His life is short but very meaningful, and it continues to inspire millions of people every single day.

Early Life and Childhood

Carlo Acutis was born on May 3, 1991, in London, United Kingdom, to Italian parents. He grew up in Milan, Italy. Even at a very young age, he showed great wisdom and deep love for God. He was an ordinary young man who liked playing video games, using the computer, and football, but what made him special was his strong faith and his desire to be holy.

The Patron Saint of the Internet

Why is he called the "Saint of the Internet"? Because Carlo was a genius when it comes to computers and technology. Instead of using the internet just for games or fun, he used it to spread the Good News and to document miracles. He created a famous website that catalogued all the Eucharistic miracles around the world. He believed that the internet could be a place not just for entertainment, but also for sharing love, truth, and faith. He showed the world that being online can also be a way to become closer to God.

Carlo was exceptionally gifted with computers and technology. Instead of using the internet merely for entertainment, he saw its potential as a tool for evangelization. He created a renowned website cataloging all known Eucharistic miracles worldwide. This project, done with great dedication, aimed to show the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist to people across the globe. His work demonstrated that technology, when used wisely, can become a powerful instrument for spreading the Gospel in the digital age. He was highly talented with computers and technology from an early age. Rather than using the internet only for entertainment or games, he saw its great potential as a tool to spread the Gospel. He single-handedly created a comprehensive website that documented and catalogued all known Eucharistic miracles from around the world. This project, completed with remarkable dedication and skill, aimed to help people deepen their faith by showing the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Carlo believed technology should serve a higher purpose — bringing souls closer to God. His work earned him the well-deserved title “Millennial Saint of the Internet” and “Patron of the Internet.”

A Life of Holiness

Carlo lived a simple life but was very dedicated to prayer and charity. He loved the Holy Eucharist so much that he attended Mass and received Holy Communion every day. He was also very generous, helping the poor and those who were in need. He always said: "Our destination is Heaven, not earth." This simple philosophy guided his whole life.

His Sickness and Death

Sadly, this brilliant young life was cut short. Carlo was diagnosed with acute pancreatitis. He suffered his illness with great courage and offered all his pains to God. He passed away on October 12, 2006, in Monza, Italy, just a few days before his 15th birthday. His death was peaceful, and many people witnessed how holy he was even at the moment of his passing.

The Journey to Sainthood

After his death, many people started praying to him and asking for his intercession. Miracles began to happen. One famous miracle was the healing of a Brazilian man named Marcilio Andrino, who was in a coma and was healed through the intercession of Carlo. Because of this, Pope Francis beatified him in 2020 and later canonized him as a SAINT in 2024. He is now the first millennial saint of the Catholic Church.
